The Foundation For The Development Of Ka-Philippe (FONDEKA) was founded on August 10, 2002. It is a non-profit organization, nondenominational, attached to no group or political party. Since its creation, Fondeka has given itself the mission to grow in order to meet the needs for the population.
Fondeka is managed by an executive council of 7 members. The financial resources of the foundation comes from the voluntary contributions granted by its members and other national and international backers.
Fondeka was created to be a model in the area and to turn Ka-Philippe, a little forgotten village high on the mountain, to a modern village.
The objectives of the Foundation are:
• To propose technical alternatives as contribution in the search for
solution to the problems confronted by the community.
• To take initiatives and to undertake actions aiming at
the local development.
• To bring clean running water to the area.
• To create loan programs for the small rural companies.
• To support local farmers with their agricultural needs.
